How does the rising table work, and does it lock at both heights?
The table uses a lift-and-lock mechanism that holds it securely at either height — 49cm for use as a coffee table, or 67cm for casual dining. Two people are required to raise and lower the table safely. Once locked, the table is stable at either position.
Is the Zante set suitable for year-round outdoor use in the UK?
The Zante is designed with UK outdoor conditions in mind. The UV-treated PE rattan is weather-resistant and will not crack or fade with sun or rain exposure. For extended periods of non-use or during winter, we recommend using the included Oxford rain cover and storing your cushions indoors to keep the set in the best possible condition.
Are the cushions included and can they be washed?
Yes — taupe 12cm seat cushions and 8cm back cushions are included with the corner sofa and both armchairs as standard. The cushion covers are removable and washable. Please note the small scatter cushions sometimes shown in lifestyle photography are not included with this set.
Is assembly required?
Yes — the Zante set arrives flat packed and requires self-assembly. All fixings and a full instruction manual are included. Most customers find the build manageable. Please allow adequate time and a clear space before you start.
