These Terms apply every time you purchase Products from us, creating a contract between us (the "Contract"). Please take a moment to read through these Terms carefully before placing your order to ensure you’re happy with everything.

Accuracy of Content
We take great care in ensuring that all the products listed on our website are accurate and described fairly. However, as much as we strive for perfection, we acknowledge that mistakes can occasionally happen. We cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions, or for any consequences arising from the use of such information.
We aim to display our products with minimal discrepancies, but we cannot accept responsibility for colour variations caused by factors like studio lighting, monitor settings, browser software, or the device used to view the products. Additionally, colour variations between different stock batches may occur, and we cannot guarantee perfect colour matching between batches.
We are not responsible for third-party articles, websites, reviews or external press that may contain discrepancies. In most cases, when you place an order, you are making an offer to buy a product from us. You will automatically receive an order confirmation, but it is only when your order is delivered that we consider it fully accepted.
Until then, we reserve the right to cancel or not fulfil your order for reasons such as pricing errors, delivery issues, or if we’re unable to obtain the product you’ve ordered. While this is rare, if it does happen, we will refund any payments made for the order.
Prices
We strive to offer our customers the best possible prices. All our prices include VAT.
Promotions & Discounts: From time to time, we may offer special promotional prices or discounts on selected products within a sale. These offers will be subject to availability and apply to specific items only.
Discount Codes: Occasionally, we may provide discount codes for selected products or basket values. These codes will have a limited time frame, and we will clearly indicate their expiration dates. If you return an item where a discount code was used, your refund will be based on the original amount paid, excluding the discount. We reserve the right to refuse to fulfil orders if we believe that promotions or discount codes have been used unfairly.
Product Bundles: At times, we may offer product bundles – a collection of items sold together at a discounted rate. If you buy a bundle and later decide to return one of the items, your refund will be based on the discounted price of the item within the bundle, not the full original price.
Prices on our website can change at any time, without prior notice. We reserve the right to adjust product prices whenever necessary.
Price Adjustments: We cannot offer price adjustments on items purchased during a sale, promotion, or with a discount code. Once an item has been bought at a discounted price, no further price reductions will apply, even if the item is marked down at a later date.
Our Products
The images of our products on the website are for illustration purposes only. While we’ve made every effort to show colours as accurately as possible, please be aware that your computer or device display may not reflect the true colour of the products, and the actual items may vary slightly from the images shown.
We’ve done our best to describe our products, their features, and functions clearly. If you’re unsure about any details or need precise measurements before placing an order, please contact us—we’ll be happy to seek exact specifications for you.
While we aim for accuracy, we cannot be held responsible for any minor discrepancies or inaccuracies in the information provided on our website. All sizes, weights, capacities, and measurements are approximate and may vary by up to 5% due to the handmade nature of many of our products, material variations, and manufacturing tolerances. Such variations are considered normal and acceptable and do not constitute a fault.
If a specific measurement is essential to your order, please get in touch with us before purchase to confirm the exact dimensions.
Product images are usually provided by the manufacturer. Some images are of the actual items, while others are computer-generated (CGI) to show how the product might look in different colours and settings. If you'd like more images or would like to see samples to better understand the product and its colours, feel free to reach out to us.
Most of our indoor furniture is handmade, vintage, or shabby chic. As these items are crafted by hand, they may not have a “perfect” factory finish, and each one will be slightly unique. This means that no two pieces are exactly the same. Our vintage and shabby chic items are chosen for their character, which may include signs of age or distress. In some cases, new items are intentionally distressed to give them an antique look. This is part of the charm of these pieces and not a manufacturing flaw.
For our natural furniture, the images you see are often taken from a single piece of furniture used for the photoshoot. Because natural materials vary significantly in shades and textures, the item you receive may differ significantly from the images online. We use handcrafted natural materials to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces. As with any handcrafted item, imperfections such as slight unevenness, nicks, surface scratches, veins or fissures in the stone are part of the product’s natural character and are not considered defects.
Our rattan furniture is handwoven, and as with any handwoven piece, there may be slight variations in the weave. This is purely aesthetic and does not affect the integrity of the furniture.
Placing Your Order
Once you’ve placed an order on our website, you’ll receive a confirmation email from us. After that, we’ll get to work picking and preparing your order for delivery.
During checkout, you’ll have the option to leave a note. Please keep in mind that this is just a customer note, not an instruction or part of the order agreement. While we’ll do our best to accommodate any requests, we can’t be held responsible if we miss something or can’t fulfil a particular request. If your request is really important, it’s best to contact us before ordering to confirm we can meet your needs.
If, for any reason, we can’t accept your order, we’ll let you know in writing as soon as possible. This could happen if the product is out of stock, if there are unexpected limitations on our resources, if we spot an error in the product price or description, or if we can’t meet a delivery deadline you’ve set. If you've already paid, we’ll refund the full amount, including any delivery costs, as quickly as possible.

Payments using Klarna
Please note that if you choose Klarna to pay for your purchase, the agreement is between you and Klarna. If you experience any issues while using Klarna, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
· Klarna payments are subject to your financial circumstances. Your application for "Pay Later" or "Pay Later in 3" may have been rejected. We recommend trying an alternative payment method or placing a smaller order.
· You may have outstanding payments on previous Klarna purchases.
· You may have missed a required field at checkout, such as your date of birth.
Please be aware that Klarna is an independent payment provider, and we have no influence over whether your payment with Klarna is approved. If you encounter any issues with your order, please contact Klarna Customer Service directly.
Pre-Orders
Sometimes, we offer items that aren’t yet in stock and are available for preorder. These items are clearly marked on our website, both on the product page and during checkout, and we’ll provide an estimated delivery date.
Please note: This date may change due to factors beyond our control, and we can’t be held responsible for any delays. However, we’ll do our best to keep you updated by email if anything changes.
If you order a pre-ordered item along with something that’s in stock, we’ll aim to deliver everything together once the pre-ordered item arrives.

On Delivery
We know it’s exciting to receive a new piece of furniture, and we completely understand the urge to tear open the packaging! However, we kindly ask that you hold off and keep all the packaging until you’ve had a chance to check the item and decide if you’re happy with it.
We recommend keeping the packaging just in case you change your mind, as we’re unable to provide new packaging for the return or collection of your product.

Returning Products
We understand that sometimes a product might not be quite what you wanted or expected, and we want to make returns as simple as possible. That’s why we offer a 14 day change of mind policy. However, please note that while we’re happy to accept your return, we are unable to arrange a free collection. You’ll need to return the product at your own cost and arrangement.
If you wish to return the item, it must meet the following conditions:
· Unopened
· Unused
· In its original packaging (this includes vacuum-sealed products that are still sealed and unopened)
· Both the packaging and product must be in resalable condition

Received an Item That’s Not What You Expected?
We’re sorry to hear that the item you received isn’t quite what you expected. We’re happy to accept it back! If this happens, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Charges) Regulations 2013, you have 14 days from receiving your item to change your mind if you’re not satisfied with its quality. If you decide to return it, we kindly ask that you keep the item in your possession and take reasonable care of it while it’s with you.
We’d also love to hear your feedback to help us improve the quality and specifications of our products. Your thoughts matter to us, so don’t hesitate to let us know how we can do better!
Cancellations
We want to make it as easy as possible for you to manage your order. If you wish to cancel your order, you can do so free of charge, as long as it hasn’t been dispatched. Once your order is on its way, you’ll be responsible for being available to receive it within a reasonable time frame.
If you decide to cancel after dispatch, you have two options:
1. Accept the delivery and arrange to return the item to our warehouse in Runcorn at your own cost.
2. Reject the delivery, and we’ll coordinate the return through our couriers. Please note that in this case, you’ll be responsible for the return fee:
o £60 for smaller items (e.g., coffee tables, bedside cabinets)
o £100 for bulkier items (e.g., dining tables, sideboards, garden furniture, sofas, beds)
o £150 for Pergolas
The return fee applies per item. So, for example, if you ordered a sofa and a bed, you’d incur two separate return fees because our couriers charge on a per-item basis, not per order.
If the courier has given you a delivery date or you’ve received a tracking notification, please make sure someone is available to accept the delivery at that time. If no one is home or if the delivery is rejected, a failed delivery fee will be applied. In this case, the goods will be returned to our warehouse, and a return fee will be charged.

Missing Parts in Your Order
We understand how frustrating it can be to receive an item with missing parts, but rest assured, we’re here to assist you! To get started, please check the instruction manual for the name or code of the missing parts.
In some cases, we may need to contact the manufacturer to source the missing parts, which might take a little extra time. We know how important it is for you to have a complete product, and we'll work hard to get those parts to you as quickly as possible.
If, for any reason, we’re unable to provide the missing parts and you’ve received a fully assembled product, we’ll explore alternative solutions to ensure you’re satisfied with your purchase.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If you are returning goods due to damage or defects, we will arrange for collection or exchange at our expense. The customer is responsible for notifying us if the collection address differs from the original "Shipping Address" on the order. For health and safety reasons, the customer must ensure the item is brought to the doorstep on the agreed collection date so it can be collected by the courier.
If the item is flat-packed furniture, the customer is responsible for disassembling it, at their own cost, and preparing it for collection by the courier at the doorstep.
Collections typically take 1-4 business days, and the customer must be available during business hours for collection. If you are unavailable due to commitments, such as work, you must notify us of your availability and may need to arrange for the item to be collected from an alternative address, such as a friend's or neighbour's home. If a collection fails due to incorrect information provided or the item not being ready for collection at kerbside, the customer will be liable to:
a) Pay a £90 failed collection fee, or
b) Arrange to return the goods to the supplier's warehouse at their own cost.
If an item arrives damaged or defective, we may choose to send a replacement part or item to resolve the issue. We will aim to collect the damaged item as soon as possible to minimise inconvenience. The item(s) will remain the customer’s responsibility until collection arrangements are made. A return label will be emailed to the customer for attaching to the returning items, ensuring they are ready for collection.
In some cases, collection of the damaged or defective item may not be feasible due to distance or the item's condition. If collection is not possible, the customer will be responsible for disposing of the damaged item(s) at their own cost and arrangement.

2-year warranty against mechanical failure under normal use.
Accessories & Electronics (LED lighting, motors, wiring, blinds):
12-month warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.
This guarantee does not cover:
Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, incorrect installation, or failure to follow care and maintenance instructions.
Damage caused by adverse or extreme weather conditions, including but not limited to heavy winds, storms, and hail.
Normal wear and tear, such as surface fading, minor scratches, UV exposure, or weathering.
Cosmetic damage that does not affect structural integrity or operation.
Unauthorised alterations, repairs, or use of non-approved components.
The pergola is designed for use under normal outdoor conditions. In anything stronger than a steady breeze, the louvres must be opened and windscreens fully retracted (pulled up) to reduce wind resistance and prevent structural stress or damage.
Casa Maria Designs cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from high winds, storms, or failure to follow these precautions. It is the customer’s responsibility to secure and maintain the product appropriately based on prevailing weather conditions.
To keep your investment in pristine condition, we recommend:
Clean all exposed aluminium surfaces with mild detergent and water at least twice per year.
Lubricate all moving parts annually.
Defects arising solely from a failure to perform the above maintenance may not be covered under this guarantee.

Free Rain Cover
Occasionally, we may offer a free rain cover to complement our garden furniture. Please note, the rain cover is not part of the contracted sale and is provided as a free, separate item to help protect your furniture from outdoor elements such as wind and rain. We use generic stock images for illustrative purposes, and the actual cover may vary based on current stock availability.
The rain cover is a free giveaway with no value and is not covered by any manufacturing warranty. We are not liable for any dissatisfaction with the rain cover or any damages/issues arising from its use. While our outdoor furniture cushions are showerproof, we recommend bringing them indoors during rainfall and storing cushion covers inside during bad weather, particularly over the Autumn and Winter months.
Free Pergola Heater
Occasionally, we may offer a free pergola heater to complement our pergola products. Please note that the heater is not part of the contracted sale and is provided as a free, separate item to enhance your outdoor experience. The actual heater may differ from any images used, as we may use generic stock images for illustrative purposes. The specific model you receive will depend on current stock availability.
The free pergola heater is provided with no monetary value and is not covered by any manufacturing warranty. We are not liable for any dissatisfaction with the heater or any damages/issues resulting from its use.
We recommend following the manufacturer's safety instructions for installation and use. We are not liable for any damage, injury, or loss caused by misuse or failure to follow guidelines.
Events Outside Our Control
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control.
In practical terms, if any of the following situations occur, we cannot be held responsible or liable for delays or cancellations:
· Strikes, lockouts, or other industrial action by third parties
· Civil commotion, riots, invasions, terrorist attacks or threats of terrorist attacks
· War (whether declared or not), or the threat or preparation for war
· Fire, explosions, storms, floods, earthquakes, subsidence, epidemics, or other natural disasters
· Failures in public or private telecommunication networks
· The impossibility of using railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport, or other means of public or private transport
· Unforeseen circumstances involving carrier companies and drivers
Our Liability
We are legally responsible for providing you with products that are of satisfactory quality and fit for their intended purpose.
Our products are designed for home use, and we do not make any guarantees or warranties regarding their performance in a work environment. We will not be liable for any loss of profit, business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
Our liability for any losses you suffer as a result of our breach of these terms is strictly limited to the purchase price of the product you bought, and any losses that are foreseeable as a result of us breaking the terms of this agreement. Losses are considered foreseeable if they could have been anticipated by both you and us when your order was accepted.
We do not exclude or limit our liability for:
· Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
· Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
· Any liability imposed under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 that cannot be excluded or restricted under section 31 of the Act
· Defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987
This does not affect our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, nor our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation or misrepresentation on a fundamental matter, nor any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected. For advice about your statutory rights, you can contact your local Citizens' Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.
Leaving a Review & Customer Reviews
Once your item has been dispatched, we will automatically email you approximately 10 days after delivery to request your feedback. Reviews are moderated before being published on our website.
Please note that customer reviews reflect the opinions of the reviewer and are not part of the product specifications or description. We are not liable for any inaccuracies within customer reviews.
