How do the windscreens work?
Each windscreen is a zip-guided retractable screen that pulls down from a housing at the top and locks into side channels for a taut, secure fit. Roll them down to cut wind, low sun and glare and to add privacy, or retract them neatly out of sight when you want the space open. The mesh reduces wind and sun while keeping a soft, semi-open outlook rather than blocking the view entirely.
What kind of wall do I need to fix it to?
The pergola is designed to fix to a structurally sound, solid wall — such as brick, block or rendered masonry — that can safely bear the load. It is not suitable for fixing to timber-frame, cladding or lightweight walls without additional structural support. If you're unsure whether your wall is suitable, we'd recommend checking with a qualified builder before ordering.
What do the RGBW LEDs do?
The integrated RGBW lighting can produce warm and cool whites as well as a full range of colours, so you can set the mood for anything from a quiet dinner to a lively evening with friends. It's built into the frame for a clean, considered look.
Is this pergola fully waterproof?
The pergola is designed to provide shade and shelter for outdoor use, but it should not be treated like a fully sealed conservatory or house extension. With the louvres closed and the windscreens down it offers strong protection from the elements, but in heavy or wind-driven rain some water can still pass through the mesh and around the edges.
