Is the herringbone pattern solid oak or a printed effect?
The herringbone pattern is hand-laid solid oak — individual planks of real oak timber set at angles to create the pattern. It's not a printed, foil or wood-effect surface. The solid oak sits on a reinforced engineered wood substrate for stability, but the visible surface you touch and see is genuine solid oak with real grain and tonal variation.
How is the storage arranged inside?
The three central drawers stack vertically in the middle of the sideboard — ideal for cutlery, napkins, stationery or anything you want quick access to. The two side cupboards each have an adjustable internal wooden shelf, giving you flexible storage for taller or larger items. The shelves can be repositioned to suit what you're storing.
Will my sideboard look exactly like the photos?
The herringbone pattern, hardware and overall finish will be consistent. However, natural solid oak has its own grain variation, knot placement and tonal spread — pieces will differ slightly between units. This is a characteristic of genuine natural timber, not a production inconsistency. Your sideboard will have the same design and finish as the photos, but its own oak grain character.
Does it require assembly?

How do I care for the oak surface?
Wipe with a soft dry cloth for day-to-day cleaning. Every 6–12 months, apply a clear oak wax or oil to maintain the finish and protect the surface. Always use coasters and mats to protect from heat and moisture, and avoid positioning the sideboard in direct continuous sunlight to prevent uneven fading over time.
