4m Toughened Glass Sliding Door System | LuxShade™ 3x4 Compatible

🚚 STOCKING early july — Free Mainland UK Delivery

Enclose the long side of your pergola in style with the Casa Maria 4m Glass Sliding Door. A set of framed glass panels glide along a discreet dual-track top-and-bottom rail — overlapping in two planes as they slide — to form a sleek glazed wall you can open and close at will. It turns the open 4m side of your pergola into a sheltered, light-filled space with the substance and finish of a permanent garden room, while keeping your view of the garden.

Each glass panel is set in a powder-coated aluminium frame in dark grey to match the Casa Maria pergola range. The panels slide along the dual track and overlap one another to open up around half the 4m span, or draw closed to cover the full side. Unlike a louvred or fabric screen, the glass door keeps your sightlines open and lets light flood in while still giving a rigid, weather-tolerant wall — ideal for the side where you want shelter without losing the view.

✅ Will this door fit my pergola?

This glass sliding door set fits the 4m side of our manual LuxShade™ 3×4m:

✔ LuxShade™ 3×4m (4m side)

This door does NOT fit:

✗ The LuxShade™ 4×4m — it also has a 4m side, but it uses a different 4m glass door, not this one · ✗ Any 3m side (3×3m, 3×6m or SplitZone™ 3×6m) — use our 3m glass door instead · ✗ Any MotaShade™ or EdgeShade™ model · ✗ The original 2.40m mid-beam SplitZone™ 3×4m. These use a different door and rail — please see the matching accessory for your pergola, or ask us.

Also enclosing the 3m sides? Your 3×4m pergola has two 3m sides as well — those take our 3m glass sliding door instead.

Why You'll Love It

A solid wall when you want one — open when you don't

Slide the panels across to close off the side completely, or overlap them to one side to open up around half the span. It's the difference between a breezy open pergola and a sheltered, private garden room — and you choose, moment to moment.

Shelter without losing the view

Clear glass blocks wind and rain while keeping your sightlines to the garden wide open and letting daylight flood through. It's the choice for the side where you want a sheltered, glazed wall — not a solid or louvred one — so the space stays bright and connected to the outdoors.

Smooth, effortless dual-track sliding

The panels run on a dual-track top-and-bottom rail that keeps them aligned across two planes and gliding smoothly, so opening and closing the side takes nothing more than a gentle push — no lifting, no awkward handling.

Built to live outdoors

Powder-coated aluminium throughout resists corrosion and shrugs off the British weather, with no rust and no special upkeep — just an occasional wipe to keep it looking its best.

A finish that matches your pergola

The dark grey frames are designed to match the Casa Maria pergola frames and accessories, so the glass door reads as part of the original structure rather than an add-on.

Build the enclosure you want

Add a sliding door to one side, or combine doors and screens around the structure to create a fully or partially enclosed outdoor room. Start with the side you use most and add more whenever you're ready.

Perfect For...

Closing off the long, most-exposed side of your pergola so you can use it later into the evening and the year, screening a neighbour's line of sight, sheltering the dining area from low sun, or simply giving your outdoor room a finished, architectural look. Because the panels slide and overlap on the dual track, you keep the flexibility to open up around half the side on a still, sunny day — and draw them closed across the full span the moment the weather or the mood changes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which pergolas does this 4m glass sliding door fit?

It fits the 4m side of the manual LuxShade™ 3×4m only. Importantly, it does not fit the LuxShade™ 4×4m — although the 4×4m also has a 4m side, it uses a different door. It also doesn't fit any 3m side (use our 3m glass door), or any MotaShade™, EdgeShade™ or SplitZone™ model — these use a different door and rail. If you're unsure which pergola you own, please contact our team before ordering.

Does it provide full privacy?

The glass panels give full shelter from wind and rain when closed while keeping the view open — so they prioritise light and sightlines over privacy. If screening from view is your main aim, our louvred panels or sliding doors are a better choice; many customers combine glass on the view side with louvres or screens where they want privacy.

How many sets do I need?

Each set encloses one 4m side. Many customers start with the side that catches the most wind, sun or overlooking, then add further sets — or combine with our windscreens and the 3m door for the shorter sides — to enclose more of the pergola over time.

How far does it open — do the panels stack fully away?

This is a dual-track system, so the panels slide and overlap one another across two planes rather than stacking fully out of the way. Closed, they cover the full 4m side; open, they overlap to one side to leave roughly half the span clear. It's designed to give you a solid, enclosing wall when you want it and a generous opening when you don't — rather than disappearing completely.

Can I fit it to a pergola I already own?

Yes — the glass sliding door can be retrofitted to any compatible LuxShade™ 3×4m pergola. Self-assembly is required, and the rail, rollers, fixings and instructions are included. As this is a glazed product, two people are recommended for safe handling during fitting.

Is it fully waterproof?
The glass door provides strong shelter from wind and rain across the glazed area under normal outdoor conditions. As a sliding panel system it is not a fully sealed, watertight wall, so some air and water can still pass around the edges where the panels meet and overlap.

Important wind safety note: This product is designed for use under normal outdoor conditions. In strong winds, storms or severe weather, slide the panels fully open (overlapped to one side) to reduce wind resistance and help prevent structural stress or damage. Casa Maria cannot be held liable for damage caused by high winds, storms, extreme weather or failure to follow these precautions. It is the customer's responsibility to manage and maintain the product appropriately based on prevailing weather conditions.
Assembly note: This product requires self-assembly and can be retrofitted to compatible pergola structures. The rail system, rollers, all fixings and a fitting guide are included. Please ensure you have confirmed compatibility with your pergola model before ordering.
