Add privacy, shade and shelter to your pergola with the Casa Maria 3m Louvre Screen in dark grey. A run of powder-coated aluminium louvre panels fixes neatly to the open 3m side of your pergola, the slats filtering low sun and screening the space from view while still letting air move freely through. It turns an exposed side into a calm, sheltered spot — without closing it in completely.
Each panel is 90cm wide and stands a generous 227cm tall, finished in dark grey to match the Casa Maria pergola range. A 3m side takes three panels, fitted side by side to screen the full span. The louvre design gives you the shade and privacy of a wall with the breathability of an open screen — ideal for the side that catches the most sun, wind or overlooking.
✅ Will this screen fit my pergola?
This louvre screen fits the 3m side of our manual LuxShade™ pergolas and the SplitZone™ 3×6m:
|
✔ LuxShade™ 3×3m
|
✔ LuxShade™ 3×4m (3m side)
|
|
✔ LuxShade™ 3×6m
|
✔ SplitZone™ 3×6m
|
This screen does NOT fit:
✗ Any MotaShade™ or EdgeShade™ model · ✗ The LuxShade™ 4×4m · ✗ The original 2.40m mid-beam SplitZone™ 3×4m. These use a different louvre panel — please see the matching accessory for your pergola, or ask us.
Need to screen a 4m side? The LuxShade™ 3×4m also has a 4m side — that takes our 4m louvre screen instead.

Privacy and shade — without boxing you in The louvre slats screen the space from direct view and take the glare off low sun, while the gaps between them keep air moving and the space feeling open. You get the shelter of a wall without the closed-in, stuffy feel of a solid panel. |
|
Filtered light and softer shade Rather than blocking the light entirely, the slats break up harsh sun into softer, dappled shade — keeping the area under your pergola cooler and more comfortable on bright days without plunging it into the dark. |
|
Breathable shelter that works with the wind Because air passes between the louvres, the screen takes the edge off the breeze on the windward side while letting wind flow through rather than pushing against a solid face — a calmer space for you, and less load on the structure. |
|
Built to live outdoors Powder-coated aluminium throughout resists corrosion and shrugs off the British weather, with no rust and no special upkeep — just an occasional wipe to keep it looking its best. |
|
A finish that matches your pergola The dark grey panels are designed to match the Casa Maria pergola frames and accessories, so the screen reads as part of the original structure rather than an add-on. |
|
Screen as much or as little as you like Screen a single side, or combine louvre screens with glass doors and windscreens around the structure to create the exact balance of shelter, privacy and openness you want. Start with the side you use most and add more whenever you're ready. |
Screening a neighbour's line of sight, taming low morning or evening sun across the dining area, softening the wind on an exposed side, or simply giving your outdoor room a finished, architectural look. Because the louvres filter rather than block, you keep the space bright, airy and connected to the garden — sheltered and private, but never closed off.

Which pergolas does this 3m louvre screen fit?
It fits the 3m side of the manual LuxShade™ 3×3m, 3×4m and 3×6m pergolas, and the SplitZone™ 3×6m. It does not fit any MotaShade™ or EdgeShade™ model, the LuxShade™ 4×4m, or the original 2.40m mid-beam SplitZone™ 3×4m — these use a different louvre panel. On the LuxShade™ 3×4m, the 4m side takes our 4m louvre screen instead. If you're unsure which pergola you own, please contact our team before ordering.
How much privacy does it give?
The louvre slats screen the space from direct, straight-on view and filter the light, while still allowing air to pass through. Because it's a slatted screen rather than a solid wall, some glimpses are possible at sharp angles. If you want to fully block the view, our sliding doors are a better choice — many customers mix the two around the structure.
How many panels do I need per side?
A 3m side takes three 90cm panels, fitted side by side to screen the full span. This set covers one 3m side; order one set per side you'd like to screen, and combine with our windscreens or sliding doors on the other sides as you wish.
Do the slats let wind and rain through?
Yes — the louvre design deliberately allows air to flow between the slats, which keeps the space breathable and reduces wind load compared with a solid panel. Some rain can also pass through at an angle. It's designed to provide shade, privacy and shelter from direct sun and wind rather than to seal the side like a watertight wall.
Can I fit it to a pergola I already own?
Yes — the louvre screen can be retrofitted to any compatible LuxShade™ or SplitZone™ 3×6m pergola. Self-assembly is required, and the mounting brackets, fixings and instructions are included. Two people are recommended for safe, straightforward fitting.
