Why Choose Professional Installation?

No heavy lifting, no hassle

Aluminium pergola components are large, heavy and awkward to manoeuvre into position alone. Our two-person team brings all the tools, handles all the heavy work, and takes care of the build from start to finish — so you can get on with your day.

Correctly fitted for long-term performance

A pergola that is correctly levelled, aligned and secured at the point of installation will perform better and last longer. Incorrect self-assembly — particularly around ground fixings and roof alignment — is one of the most common causes of operational issues down the line. Our installers fit Casa Maria pergolas regularly and know exactly how each model goes together.

Accessories fitted in the same visit

If you've ordered zip blinds, side screens, LED lighting or other compatible accessories alongside your pergola, our team will install everything in a single visit. There's no need to book a separate fitting or attempt accessory installation afterwards — your outdoor space will be fully set up and ready to use from day one.

Specialist options for porcelain and composite surfaces

Porcelain patio surfaces require specialist drilling equipment and specific fixings that standard tools cannot handle. If your patio is porcelain, our dedicated porcelain bolt-down option ensures your pergola is fixed correctly and safely — without risk of cracking the surface during installation.

One smooth process from order to outdoor room

We coordinate the delivery and installation together wherever possible, keeping the whole project simple and straightforward. Once your stock arrives, our team will contact you to arrange a date that works around your schedule.

Choose Your Installation Option

Select the most suitable option from the dropdown menu above. If you are unsure which option is right for your surface, please contact our team before placing your order.

Option What's Included
Frame Only Professional installation of your pergola frame and any compatible accessories. No ground fixing included.
Frame + Bolt-Down Full pergola frame installation plus secure ground bolt-down fixing for added stability. Suitable for concrete, paving, timber and composite decking.
Porcelain Bolt-Down Specialist installation using dedicated equipment designed for porcelain patio surfaces. Must be selected if your surface is porcelain — do not select the standard bolt-down option for porcelain.

Surfaces We Install On

Our trained installers can fit your pergola on the following surfaces:

  • Concrete
  • Smooth paving slabs (with solid concrete beneath fixing points)
  • Timber decking (with strong supporting joists)
  • Composite decking (with suitable structural support)
  • Porcelain patios — porcelain bolt-down option must be selected

Before Your Installation Date

To help your installation run smoothly and avoid delays or additional charges, please ensure the following are in place before your appointment:

Base Requirements
The installation surface must be flat, solid and level. There must be no more than a 30mm slope across the installation area. Any paving or slabs must have solid concrete beneath the fixing points. Decking must be supported by suitable structural joists. If the surface is found to be unsuitable on arrival, installation may not be able to proceed and the visit may be treated as a failed installation — charges will still apply.
Site Access
Please ensure there is clear, safe access to the installation area, sufficient room for the team to manoeuvre and position components, and that any furniture, planters or obstructions have been removed in advance. Parking should be available nearby where possible.
Packaging
Your pergola must remain in its original, unopened packaging until our installers arrive. If your product has been opened, unpacked or handled in any way, please notify us in writing before your installation is booked. If undisclosed handling is discovered on arrival, the installer reserves the right to decline installation.
Electrical Connections
If your pergola includes a motorised roof, LED lighting or a heater, you will need your own qualified electrician to install a suitable outdoor power supply in advance. Our installation team does not carry out electrical work.

Installation Timeline

Installation is typically scheduled within approximately 2 to 3 weeks from the date your stock arrives at our warehouse. Once your order is ready, our team will contact you directly to arrange a suitable date and time. All installation dates are subject to installer availability, regional scheduling and route planning. We aim to be as flexible as possible and will work around your availability where we can.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Once your installation date has been agreed and confirmed, our team will have allocated labour, a vehicle and route planning specifically for your order. If you need to cancel or postpone, please give us as much notice as possible. Cancellations or postponements within 48 hours of the confirmed installation date may still incur the full installation charge, as the booking will already have been scheduled. This also applies if our team arrives and is unable to complete the installation due to site conditions, access issues, or packaging concerns outside of our control.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to purchase this service alongside my pergola, or can I add it later?

We recommend adding the installation service at the same time as your pergola order so we can coordinate delivery and installation together. If you'd like to add installation after placing your pergola order, please contact our team as early as possible — ideally before your pergola ships.

Can accessories such as blinds and lighting be installed at the same time?

Yes — if you have ordered compatible accessories (zip blinds, side screens, LED lighting, etc.) alongside your pergola, our team will install everything in the same visit. Please note that electrical connections for LED lighting and motorised features must be prepared in advance by a qualified electrician, as our team does not carry out electrical work.

My patio is porcelain — which option do I need to choose?

If your surface is porcelain, you must select the Porcelain Bolt-Down option. Porcelain requires specialist drilling equipment and specific fixings that are not included with the standard bolt-down service. Using the incorrect option on porcelain may result in the installation being unable to proceed on the day.

What happens if my base or access isn't suitable on the day?

If our installers arrive and find the surface is unsuitable, access is restricted, or the pergola packaging has been opened or damaged, they may be unable to proceed with the installation. In these cases, the visit may be treated as a failed installation and charges may still apply. Please review the base and access requirements above carefully before your appointment, and contact our team in advance if you have any concerns.

How long does installation take?

Installation time varies depending on the pergola model, the number of accessories being fitted, and the surface type. Our two-person team works efficiently and will advise you on the expected duration when your installation date is confirmed. We'd recommend keeping the morning or afternoon clear rather than booking back-to-back commitments.

Important — please read before booking: The pergola must remain in its original, unopened packaging until our installers arrive. Installations cannot proceed on unsuitable, uneven or unprepared surfaces. Our team does not carry out electrical work — please arrange a qualified electrician in advance if your pergola requires a power supply. Cancellations or changes within 48 hours of your confirmed installation date may still be charged in full.
